Cash Drawer will not open

1- Is the printer on
2- Is the cash drawer locked
3- Is the cash drawer plugged in to back of Printer
4- Is there paper in the printer
5- Does a receipt print when the user does an  open till
6- If Yes was there a clicking sound, if Yes till locked or jammed
